Asquad - fast solution for payment integration

One of the main investors of fintech fund N1 and Asuqad Nikita Izmailov told about himself and gave some answers about his startups and projects.

Where did you study and what made you interested in this profession?

Nikita studied at the Academy of Banking, he chose the specialty of accounting and auditing. Due to the fact that he has a mathematical mindset, he wanted to choose a specialty related to business.

Whether there were earlier beginnings?

Already in his second year, Izmaylov created his own business, namely, he published a satirical newspaper called The Bag. It got to the point where the circulation reached 10 thousand copies and was printed three times a week. Of course, it was even profitable, but it was clear that one could not get rich this way.

Next was the plastic window distribution business. Nikita was supported by his teachers and students alike. And already after graduating from university, after moving to the capital, he managed to get the position he wanted. Of course, it was not all at once, I had to attend many interviews, and in the meantime, I had to sell furniture.

But thanks to my knowledge of international accounting and audit I finally got a job at KPMG. He began to climb the career ladder rapidly, and it took him only three years to be promoted to senior auditor. For others, it took at least 5-6 years.

How did you start working at Paris Match in the first place?

My skills were well suited to this type of company. That's why I succeeded. In fact, Nikita was invited to the position of financial director, at that time the company had existed for 18 years. But something had to change and new employees were just needed.

How N1 appeared

At a certain point it became clear that expertise with finance and banking should be separated from Paris Match. And at this point there are plenty of companies that need such a solution. That's why I negotiated a spinoff with my partners.

What is Asquad?

This company is supposed to be an effective solution, thanks to which it is possible to create fast and high-quality integration in the field of payment solutions on the market.

In fact, the project emerged, at first glance, from an unsolvable integration task in just a couple of days. This provides opportunities for rapid expansion.

What will happen with N1?

First of all fintech should be profitable in Ukraine. But now it is quite difficult to reach the set goal, so the plans for development in Ukraine are deposits and expansion.

But it is worth noting that the markets throughout the CIS are attractive, especially since there is an understanding of all the risks associated with them.
